Manager, NBPG (Multiple Positions)
Position Description

KPMG LLP, Manager, NBPG (Multiple Positions), Dallas, TX.

Participate in all phases of the system development and implementation process for client area application systems using diverse development platforms. Research and evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend systems design and big data solutions that meet businesses’ strategic objectives. Develop and optimize data pipelines with automation within the enterprise data lake ecosystem. Implement appropriate governance and controls to prescribe data handling, protection, and user provisioning. Design and develop diversified data applications using big data platform and leveraging hybrid clouds. Perform operational activities related to data management, including metadata capture, data quality, data security, data lineage, and data inventory. Work with cross functional teams to build scalable, optimal, self-service analytics solutions, both on premise and in the cloud. Provide end to end technical ownership and delivery for data supply chain, including Enterprise Data Lake (on-prem & cloud), Data quality and Enterprise Data Warehouse. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have at least 2 years of experience with the following: Creation of project schedules and project status reporting; Interfacing with clients and vendors; Implementing real-time solutions and data integrations; and optimizing the data pipe, integrating build and development automation, configuration management, and test automation solutions.

Of the required experience, must have at least 2 years of experience in at least one of the following: Hadoop, HIVE, HBase, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, Python, R, SQL, Java, Scala, Zeppelin, RStudio, Spark RDDs, Data Frames, Ambari, Ranger, Kerberos, Atlas, or Collibra.

Of the required experience, must have at least 1 year of experience in the following: Architecting and implementing end to end Azure cloud big data solutions; Data warehousing implementations and utilizing ETL tools including Azure data factory, Azure Databricks and Azure functions; Azure Cloud Stack including ADF Data flows, Event Hub, Databricks, HDInsight, or Azure DevOps; and Developing PySpark notebooks in Azure Databricks.
